Mariana Garcia

Undergraduate Research Apprentice

Mariana Garcia is a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in political science and pursuing a minor in Spanish. She is passionate about increasing representation for the Latinx community on campus and in academia. Through her work with the Democracy + Media Lab she hopes to work closely with like-minded students and publish research on issues pertaining to the Latinx community that will have a positive, real-world impact. In her free time, Mariana loves to watch movies, discover new music, and take pictures around Berkeley with a camera and a fresh roll of film.
