Leslie grew up in Los Angeles and is a fourth year undergraduate. She majors in Global Studies with a concentration in Peace in Conflict in the Americas, pursuing a minor in Journalism. She is excited about multimedia formats and would like to incorporate interactivity in media. Leslie is passionate about community outreach and hopes to contribute to the decolonization of social structures by uplifting the voices of underrepresented communities, highlighting their resilience. Leslie adopts cultural humility and collectivism in her work to empower community members to strive toward an equitable and compassionate society.
