Gloria Rodas is a fourth year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in Media Studies with a concentration in Digital Studies. Gloria has spent the past few months working on a comparative analysis of the sanctions placed on Guatemala and Nicaragua by the United States government. Her focus has been comparing how women are treated in each of the respective countries and the role that their social standing plays in foreign policy. This project is closely aligned with her own academic interests.
