Research Apprentice
Rina Rossi is a Dominican-Japanese freshman graduating in Spring 2022 majoring in Political Economy & Classics, with minors in Journalism, Anthropology, and Comparative Literature. She is currently a research apprentice for Professor Angela Marino, and is writing a paper detailing the effect of US sanctions on political formation and democracy in Venezuela. Her personal research interests focus on developmental economics, particularly analyzing how menstrual inequity and contraceptive access disproportionately affects women in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa.
